The big 13 !

I turned 13 on September 25th. I didn't really want a party or anything, but I wanted to do something special. So I saved up 110 dollars to go shopping. I enjoyed shopping with my Mom and Leah and also got to meet up with my brothers and my Dad at California pizza kitchen. My Mom and Leah also made me the cutest, tastiest, biggest cake in the whole world! The cake was lemon buttercream. I had a great birthday! Pictures will be added soon I promise!

Babysitting gigs.

Since I am only twelve and therefore can't get a real job I have been babysitting. It pays pretty well and doesn't even feel like a real job. It's so fun! I have sixty dollars so far. I am saving up to go shopping next week for my birthday.

Thunder storm in september?

We all woke up this morning to thunder shaking our house , I was pretty scared at first but after a while the thunder and lightning were both kinda fun to watch. There have been a few fires but no one has been hurt. I guess naturally everything in September is a little odd, I mean it isn't officially fall yet but not really summer since we have school.

Back to school !

Sorry it has taken me so long to update I have been kinda busy lately. We went back to school on August 26. I am now a 7th grader attending Harvest park , it is a lot of fun but also very hard work I have at least 2 hours of homework every night but other than that school has been good. Here are some pics!

What I should have blogged about a long time ago...

It's been awhile since my last post so a lot has happened but since I don't want this to be to long I won't give many details. First off I would like to tell about the rest of the Hall family reunion. Well , I was basically sick for the rest of the week. Luckily  I was better by Saturday because I left for girls camp that morning.I had tons of fun at girls camp and am very much looking forward to going back next year. Next came our trip to southern California. We went there to see our cousins ( the Hurst's) we really enjoyed going  swimming , to the beach ( where we got extremely sunburned thanks to the skin we inherited from grandpa hall, thank you grandpa) , and just plain talking. Last but not least our Aunt Diana and her daughter are now staying with us for a week or two. So far ( it has only been a day) we have had lots of fun with them.

Two reunions in one month

My summer has been great. A few weeks ago we had a family reunion with my moms side of the family. We stayed in a lodge that had a play set , a trampoline , a hot tub , and a pool table. We had tons of fun! This week is our family reunion on my dads side. It is not over yet but it has been super fun! So far we have gone to SF and the beach.

Schools out / I am in Arizona

Schools out!!! On the last day of school we ........ watched a slide show, laughed at a comedian , and watched a talent show. It all very fun but it didnt feel like the last day of school because it was overcast.

My aunt and uncle (ben and brittany) just had a baby and I havent seen them in a year so I decided to come help out with there daughter baylee. It has been really fun!!! And very hot! But they have a pool!!!

For school today we went to the equatic center and it was raining!!! Since the weather wasnt so great I was only in for like an hour. I would have stayed in longer but some kid had a seisure in the deeper pool so we all had to get out and go stand by are stuff on the grass the kid was okay he was even waving after a little while. I got so cold while I was standing there that I didnt want to go back in.

Next week is our last week of school and I am so excited! Although the weather here isnt great it is supposed to heat up and I am going to Arizona!

Baptisms for the dead

This Wednesday was my first time going to the temple and my first time doing baptisms for the dead.It gave me a headache but it was still fun and spiritual.

Memorial day

Our memorial day was pretty laid back. Garrett and I slept over at Grandma and Grandpa's on sunday and but we had to go to bed early cause I had to get up at eight for the memorial day breakfast which started at 8 thirty. Getting up early was kinda a big thing for me since I like to sleep in but the breakfast was worth it , well almost they ran out of orange juice so I only got like half a cup. I spent the rest of the day shopping with Grandma it was pretty crowded but still a lot of fun.

21DAYS UNTIL SKOOLS OUT!!!

There are only 21 days of school left! And the last week is just fun stuff!!! I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited for this summer! I got a job babysitting my cute little cousins every thursday while my aunt goes to school and ............. I get to go to like a million places and see a whole bunch of family! Guess the summer makes up for the boreing christmas and easter.

STAR testing

This week at school we have STAR testing and for some reason I LOVE IT! Well, actually I dont love the test I love that it changes my day.For example each period is usually 45 min long but now they are only 33 min. long and I can leave study hall right after I finish my hw whereas usually I have to wait until 4:15.

owen's broken pinkie , swine flu , and a mountain lion sighted...OH MY!

This is a list of things that have recently been affecting my life. Number 1 Owen broke his pinkie playing kickball.Iknow, I know you play kickball with your feet thats what I thought to but apperently you catch the ball to.No worries, Owen's fine other than the fact that his arm smells a little.Ha ha ha.Number 2 I am sure you have all heard that the swine flu is going around.They sent out a note and everything! The symtoms(that I remember) are lose of appetite,nausea, and vommit.Number 3 there was a mountain lion sighted on moore avenue which is CLOSE!But life goes on.

EASTER

Our Easter was pretty kicked back and boring because we didn't go anywhere and no one came here.I have to say the highlights were probably the food and our new trampoline.

DANCE YOUR HEART OUT

So ,last night was the official dance festival and let me just say we were awesome!!! The program did not start until seven but I was there all day for the practice and dance rehersal.The program went until about 8 fourty five and then there was a big after party where they showed a slide show of earlier practices it was fun.All and all the practices werent the most fun but the day of was totally worth it.

Next week we perform dance festival.We have been working very hard.3 hours a week!!! Okay so its not that much but whatever.Thanks to our amazing choreographer sister cannon our dance is awesome. Iam very excited to show people how good we are but also very scared of messing up. Wish me luck.

twilight progress

I am not so happy to say that I finished the twilight series. I WANT MORE!!!! Since then I have just been reading them over again. It drives my mom crazy ! But at least Iam reading something.

Weekend at the grandparents.

Last friday very early in the morning my mom and dad got on a flight to miami. Because they left so early grandma decided to come get us thursday night. We stayed at are grandparents until monday night. It was fun on saturday we went to the exploratorian it was really cool they had some fun hands on activities, and then on monday(which we had off for presidents day) we went to the movies we wanted to see Coraline but it was sold out so we saw pink panther 2 instead , the boys were a little dissapointed but I didnt mind I am getting a little old for cartoons. All in all we had fun.

Chili cook off

Last weekend our church had there chili cook off.It was actually more of an auction. All of the young women and young men either had to auction off a service for the future or bring a food to auction I decided it would be easier just to bring cookies. It would have been fun but at the time I had a sinus infection that put a lot of pressure on my ear. It hurt. But the chili was good and we earned a lot of money for camp.

Who knew making bread could be so messy?

This week for young womens we made bread for the sacrament FROM SCRATCH!!!!! Iam usually really good at cooking but I did not realize that usually when I cook I don't use very many dry ingredients and the kitchen is not super crowded.Long story short I spilled dry milk all over the floor and instead of helping my partner knead the dough I spent the rest of the night sweeping.But it all worked out in the end I still had fun and the bread was really good.
so thats what I have to blog about for now.

happy new year

We had a pretty laid back new year are neighbors came over and we watched a movie and then at midnight we went out and screamed HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I ended up staying up till three in the morning but i slept in till noon so I got good sleep.
